  • Why Choose our Paper Kitchen Caddy Bags

Looking after our planet while keeping our homes hygenically clean and tidy shouldn't be a chore. Neither should being environmentally-responsible and houseproud be exasperating. Nevertheless, because most caddy bags for sale nowadays don't seem to be fit for purpose - perspiring so much that they sag, rip, leak and often explode - they are... But that's all about to change thanks to these heavy-duty, eco-elegant Bags4Caddies paper-based compostable caddy liners. With these, recycling organic matter has never been so quick, so easy, so clean or so hassle and stress-free, because:

    • Stronger than compost caddy bags made from corn and wheat starch, these caddy bin bags boast excellent tensile strength and durability; they even retain liquids well, so no more infuriating leaks

    • These paper-based food caddy bags are 100 per cent compostable; they'll completely break down in industrial composting units in a matter of months and won't leave any toxic chemicals or other nasties behind. They even give something back to our planet; helping to make nutrient-rich humus which all our plants and trees need to grow healthy and strong

    • Specifically crafted to be convenient and easy to work with, these tall caddy bags for food waste are reliably strong and dependably durable; providing excellent caddy bin and kitchen floor protection at a nominal cost
  • What Can These be Used For?

These Bags4Caddies paper-based food caddy liners are intended to fit most 7-litre kitchen compost bins and have been cleverly crafted so that they can be opened out with a box-shaped bottom to fit in your kitchen caddy or to sit on a work top (like the images show). You can also fold the top of the bag over for added strength when removing them from your kitchen caddy.

    Dimensions: 200 x 150 x 360 mm

  • Certification

These paper-based food waste caddy liners are EN13432-certified as fully compostable and biodegradable to the internationally recognised certification for compostable material. Governed and endorsed by Din Certco, OK Compost and the UK Compost Association, these food waste bags are council approved by most local authorities for food waste recycling schemes.

  • Storage & Usage

These Bags4Caddies caddy bin liners should be stored in a cool, dark and dry place because if left near sources of heat and moisture (like near your kitchen sink, microwave, tumble drier or utility room), they'll eventually start to degrade. Therefore, it's important you keep your caddy bags somewhere cool; out of direct sunlight, and away from damp and muggy environments. You should also aim to use all the caddy liners you purchase within 18 months and use up the oldest ones first.

You'll find that these paper-based compostable caddy liners last much longer than conventional food waste bags and you'll also notice that they're superb at retaining liquids. However, you may find that grease can still seep through, so, for that reason, we suggest placing a sheet of kitchen towel roll in the bottom of your paper caddy bags - or at the bottom of your caddy bin - to soak up any oils or fats that do escape. And don't worry, you can still recycle that piece of kitchen towel roll along with the rest of your organic kitchen waste.
