Some folk might say that "it ain't easy being green", but with these Bags4Caddies compostable caddy bags, we beg to differ. Hard-wearing and Earth-conscious, these kitchen caddy bin bags make being kinder to the planet (and your bank balance), a breeze, because:
- These caddy bags for food waste are made right here in the UK from GM-free potato starch; an organic, renewable, vegan-friendly resource
- Stronger than caddy liners made from either corn or wheat starch, these Bags4Caddies kitchen caddy bin bags boast excellent tensile strength and durability thanks to their organic materials being combined with state-of-the-art BIOTEC thermoplastics (which enhances their stability and improves their decomposition). So, even when these biodegradable caddy liners are moist or wet, they'll stay strong; reducing all those frustrating and disheartening splits, leaks, rips, smells, and messy explosions
- These caddy bags are 100 per cent compostable; they'll completely degrade in commercial compost heaps in a matter of months and won't leave any toxic chemicals or other nasties behind. They even give something back to our planet; helping to make nutrient-rich humus which all our plants and trees need to grow healthy and strong
- Especially crafted to be convenient and easy to work with (even when wet), these food caddy liners are strong and pliant, providing excellent caddy bin (and kitchen floor!) protection at a nominal cost
What Can These be Used For?
These Bags4Caddies kitchen caddy bags are designed to fit most 5 litre kitchen caddies. But remember, the dimensions of all compost caddy bags do vary, so be sure to check the measurements below against your actual caddy bin. And don't forget, you'll need to allow enough length to fold over the rim of your caddy bin and you'll need to leave yourself enough material so that you can spread the food waste caddy liners evenly across the base.
Dimensions: 200 x 390 x 330 mm
Impressively pliant and reliably strong, even when wet, these good-for-the-Earth Bags4Caddies caddy liners are EN13432-certified and have been approved and endorsed by several big-name composting associations including Din Certco and OK Compost. Printed with the internationally recognised seedling logo, these compostable caddy liners are accepted by most local authorities for food waste composting schemes.
Storage & Usage
These Bags4Caddies food waste bags must be kept out of direct sunlight and in a cool, dark, dry place. That's because, if left anywhere warm and damp (like near your kitchen sink, oven, fridge or tumble drier), they'll start to do what they do best; degrade! So, it's essential that you not only store all your caddy bags carefully but to use them all within 18 months from the date of purchase. To help keep them fit for purpose, it's also a good idea to use your oldest food caddy liners first.
